Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon at an Academic Hospital

Join our growing and compassionate team at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN! We are seeking a patient-focused Acute Care/Trauma Surgeon to collaborate with our highly skilled teams.

Employment Opportunity Details:

• Full-time employed opportunity
• Through a partnership with IU Health and IU School of Medicine, practice at the Level 1
  trauma center at Eskenazi Health (a public hospital and one of America's largest safety net
  health systems)
• Academic appointment with the IU School of Medicine, salary and academic/clinical rank will be commensurate or are commensurate with experience
• Acute Care Surgery consisting of surgical ICU, trauma, emergency general surgery and opportunity for elective surgery/robotics cases
• Support and contribute to a growing practice with highly collaborative and interdependent processes in place for successful patient outcomes
• shared call
• 90% inpatient/10% outpatient
• 20 procedures per week/60 patients per week in office/60 patients per week in hospital

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship
• American Board of Surgery BE/BC
• Physician MD licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in the state
