Vascular Neurologist - Stroke Medical Director at Indian River Hospital

Cleveland Clinic Florida's Neurosciences Institute is seeking a board certified fellowship-trained vascular neurologist that is excited to join a cutting edge clinical practice focused on the treatment of stroke. The Cerebrovascular Center is a large group practice in an integrated hospital system that is ranked #1 in Ohio, and #8 in the United States for neurology and neurosurgery by U.S. News and World Report.

Successful candidates will join a busy and constantly growing clinical practice at the Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, a Joint Commission-certified Thrombectomy capable Stroke Center, and the main campus of the Academic Medical Center's network of integrated regional hospitals. The stroke director will provide primarily inpatient neurohospitalist based care, continuity of care for cerebrovascular disease and lead our stroke center as medical director ensuring compliance, and excelling at stroke program quality metrics and standards of care. The Indian River neurology practice will consist of a balance of outpatient clinic, inpatient hospital service, telemedicine and ED call, with opportunities for clinical research and educational pursuits and appointment to the Cleveland Clinic Lerner School of Medicine. Through this opportunity, the candidate will join an internationally respected, collegial team of subspecialists with a multitude of fellowship training backgrounds in a multidisciplinary progressive patient care model.
