Overview
Texas Oncology - San Antonio has an opening for a BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to join our current partner in this specialty in the Medical Center office, plus a secondary site to be determined. We are a physician owned, multispecialty practice that provides world class treatment options to patients in the second largest city in Texas. We are a group of 37 physicians including 1 Thoracic Surgeon, 3 Gynecologic Oncologists, 3 Radiation Oncologists, 2 Breast Surgeons, 2 Surgical Oncologists, 3 Colorectal Surgeons and 23 medical oncology sub-specialists dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood disorders. Our Thoracic Surgeons practice all aspects of general thoracic surgery including diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum and diaphragm. This physician should be well versed in minimally invasive surgery including robotics. Experience in EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy is a plus.
