The Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS), is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to create enhanced and innovative services as the Chief of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The Department of Psychiatry has an extensive array of services, including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and integrated care services for children, adults and geriatric patients. The Division Chief will provide strategic direction for the growth and development of the Division, and overall clinical and administrative leadership for all services within the Division. These services will include the new Center of Excellence for Child & Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health Care, which will provide a transformative continuum of patient- and family- centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs.

The successful candidate will be a recognized leader with a substantial record of clinical and administrative accomplishments. We are seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage, mentor and develop staff, who are dedicated to appreciating cultural, linguistic, racial and socio-economic challenges that impact behavioral health issues. The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor available commensurate HMS appointment criteria and candidate qualifications.
