Physician - Einstein - Hospitalist - Philadelphia - PER DIEM

Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is seeking to add an Academic Hospitalist, on a per diem basis, to its growing team of outstanding physicians to support the growth of the practice. Join us; make a difference.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with a team of 17 attendings
• 11 PAs [7 days, 4 night]
• 4 Nocturnists
• Two sites. [Philadelphia main campus and Elkins Park]
• See 12-18 patients a day, many of which are from a diverse and underserved population
• Working a 7a-7p day schedule.
• 100% clinical work with teaching residents and med students.
• Supervise procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, central lines, POCUS and arterial lines [rare]
• Run codes and RRTs only at Elkins Park location.
• Participate in M&Ms, daily interdisciplinary rounds
• Providing quality care in conjunction with a very diverse team
• Help Einstein maintain/improve its highly ranked metrics which are better than top quartile of hospitals in the country

Minimum Requirements:

• MD/DO/foreign degree equiv.
• Completion of 3 yr. ACGME-approved Int. Med. residency
• PA license/eligibility
• Must be available for night & weekend coverage
