Benefis Health System is looking to add a physician to an established GI practice in Great Falls, Montana. The practice serves 60,000 Great Falls residents as well as 275,000 residents across north central Montana. Flexible schedule, high volume procedures if desired, NO CALL!

Currently, we employ 2 traditional GI Physicians, 2 full-time GI Hospitalists, 1 GI Hospitalist PA-C, and 2 outpatient Advanced Practice Providers, creating a unique opportunity for a new physician to step into a thriving practice. Applicants must be board eligible/certified.  ERCP and EUS training is a plus but not required.

The endoscopy unit includes five endoscopy suites and one bronch lab. It is designed as an ambulatory surgical center and all patients are managed within the unit with occasional procedures in the OR (based on BMI).

The office practice is located in the new Benefis Medical Professional Building, which is connected to the hospital for easy access, a 5-minute indoor walk from your desk to endoscopy.

  • PEG tube placements

Endoscopy Information:

  • Olympus equipment 
  • Five endoscopy suites and one bronchoscopy suite
  • 10-Bed recovery unit
  • Experienced and helpful staff of RNs and techs
  • Anesthesia services provided

Work Hours and Call Coverage
Our main need is for a traditional gastroenterology practice, although, if desired we do have opportunity for a combined Traditional/Hospitalist role. Our traditional role has great endoscopy time with option of half or full day office hours during designated weekdays, depending on preference / desired balance. All call is covered by GI Hospitalists, allowing our traditional practicing physicians time to enjoy the Montana lifestyle without a call obligation

Compensation and Benefits
This opportunity is an employed position. We offer a nationally competitive compensation based on a guaranteed salary and RVU bonus + incentive compensation bonus and our comprehensive benefits include paid vacation (6 weeks) CME (2 weeks), retirement plan with match, sign-on bonus/relocation assistance, and malpractice + tail.
