What You'll Be Doing

The System Chief is responsible for the overall administrative, academic, and clinical operations of the division. The Section is poised for rapid growth and seeks an innovative and visionary leader who will work closely with the Chair of the Department of Medicine as well as CarePoint Medical Group.   

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is integral to the growth of the Department of Medicine. Expertise in the Section includes general gastroenterology, hepatology, and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. The fellowship program, currently at two fellows per year, offers diverse training at three affiliated hospitals, Christ Hospital, Hoboken University Medical Center and Bayonne Medical Center and is affiliated with Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. The Section Chief will also serve as a core faculty member of the fellowship and will work closely with the GI fellowship Program Director in order to align academic goals with division goals.   

What We're Looking For 

CarePoint Health seeks a clinician with an MD from an accredited medical school, current board certification in gastroenterology, eligible for licensure in New Jersey, and appropriate academic qualifications for appointment. Candidates must have experience in developing and leading clinical programs, a record of innovative and effective administrative experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse work environment.
