What You'll Be Doing

The Chief of Advanced Endoscopy is responsible for the overall administrative, academic, and clinical operations pertaining to interventional gastroenterology in the Division of Gastroenterology. The Chief of Advanced Endoscopy will work closely with the Chief of Gastroenterology in order to expand interventional GI services throughout all three of CarePoint Health affiliated hospitals: Bayonne Medical Center, Christ Hospital, and Hoboken University Medical Center.  

The Chief of Advanced Endoscopy will also serve as a core faculty member in the GI fellowship program, which currently consists of two fellows per year and is affiliated with Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine.  

What We're Looking For 

CarePoint Health seeks a clinician with an MD from an accredited medical school, current board certification in gastroenterology with additional training in advanced endoscopic, eligible for licensure in New Jersey, and appropriate academic qualifications for appointment. Candidates must have experience in developing and leading clinical programs, a record of innovative and effective administrative experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated commitment to promoting a diverse work environment.
