The Section includes Transfusion Services and a Blood Bank with automated and manual testing which performs a full range of immunohematology testing and reference laboratory testing for regional hospital blood banks. Additionally, the section has a Progenitor Cell Processing Laboratory supporting an active bone marrow transplant program, both adult and pediatric, and cellular therapy products for other research requests.
