Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our group at IU Health in Indianapolis.

IU's Department of Orthopaedics consists of 40 physicians, 30 advanced providers, and 150+ support staff, and is home to Indiana's only orthopaedic residency program.

Position Details:
  • Level 1 trauma center- call coverage 1:5
  • 4 providers who help cover trauma as well as provide subspecialty care in other areas
  • IU Health Academic Health Center and Eskenazi Hospital
  • ~20% Outpatient / 80% inpatient
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Adult patient population- serving level 1 trauma center downtown Indianapolis

Qualifications:
  • DO or MD
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopaedic Trauma
  • ABOS BE/BC in the United States
  • Ability to acquire Indiana medical license
  • Graduating fellows and experienced BC physicians encouraged to apply
