Job Details

The Department of Critical Care Medicine in the Respiratory Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is seeking to hire a clinical associate with interest in the management of critically ill patients. The department covers the 64-bed MICU at main campus, one of the largest MICUs in the US, as well as 13 other ICUs, CCUs and step-down units within the healthcare system in Ohio. We care for patients with very high acuity of illness and complex diseases and conditions including organ transplants. More than 30% of our MICU patients are referred from outside hospitals including national and international referrals. The clinical associate will care for critically ill patients in diverse roles and settings with major responsibilities at the Cleveland Clinic main campus. Typical candidates include recent graduates of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program that may be considering further clinical exposure to pursue careers in critical care and/or pulmonary and critical care medicine, but all potential applicants are encouraged. Ohio Medical License is preferred.
