The Department of Orthopedics & Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is looking for a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with Sports Medicine fellowship training, including ultrasound, to join a well-established outpatient practice in Queens. Training as a Non-Operative Orthopedist or a Musculoskeletal Specialist will also be considered.

Highlights include:

Work alongside a well-respected OSA and medical assistant in a busy outpatient practice setting
  • Participate in grand rounds at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens on a weekly basis
  • This a full-time position with an excellent schedule which is Monday through Friday with no call requirements
  • Teaching responsibilities available in our Department of Medicine

This outpatient practice, located in Jackson Heights, is part of NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens which is the largest hospital in Queens and serves patients in a culturally and ethnically diverse area. This 535-bed busy tertiary facility is an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and serves over two million residents in the borough of Queens, NY. Our academic programs include three graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs, including an ACGME accredited sports medicine fellowship, and orthopedic residency rotations, in partnership with New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.

Queens, home to Flushing Meadows Park, is proud to host both the New York Mets baseball team and the US Open Tennis Tournament. As one of the most ethnically diverse urban areas in the world, Queens can satisfy nearly every taste. Foodies covet the Greek cuisine of Astoria and the authentic Asian food in Flushing; others admire the inventive art at Socrates Sculpture Park and the stunning flora at the Queens Botanical Garden. In the borough's southern extremes, the surf is always up at Rockaway Beach.

The salary range for this position is $225k to $300k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.

The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and credentials.
