Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established, busy, and rapidly growing practice, with 14 physicians and 9 advanced practitioners. Responsibilities include both outpatient practice and inpatient coverage. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment. 2023 Candidates welcome to apply. 

The ideal candidate will be a board certified/eligible gastroenterologist looking to join a highly collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as a relocation stipend.

Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine.
