PeaceHealth is looking for a a Physician Leader in Ketchikan, Alaska!

In this leadership role, you'll partner with the Director of Operations, to lead our medical services in our SE Alaska division (Ketchikan, Metlakatla, Prince of Wales, and other outlying communities). This person will be responsible for the performance for day to day operations, quality improvement, service excellence, safety, financial performance, and provider engagement. Our medical group consists of over 30 providers, with 8 full time specialties; Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, OBGYN, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Anesthesia, and Hospital Medicine. We also offer routine visiting specialties; Pulmonology, Oncology, Cardiology, ENT, Urology, GI, Pediatric Neurology.

Position Highlights

  • Full time position; 0.5 Administrative Leadership and 0.5 Clinical. Specialties considered in this role are; Primary Care (FM/IM), Peds, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, or General Surgery.
  • Monitoring & achieving individual, clinic, and division performance targets.
  • Work to optimize provider engagement.
  • Evaluate provider performance to align with clinical quality targets.
  • Assist in provider recruitment, orientation, and retention programs.
