Our well established Cardiology Group is growing our cardiology program. We are adding one full time, fellowship-trained electrophysiologist, board eligible/board certified in cardiac electrophysiology.

About our cardiology team in northern Colorado:

Our team - a collaborative, cohesive group that includes 39 cardiologists and 10 advanced practitioners who thrives on providing the best cardiac care in the region. Our EP program is the largest of its type in the multi-state region. We have 3 state of the art ablation labs with a fourth scheduled to be completed in 2023. We have 7 board certified electrophysiologists performing over 1600 EP procedures annually. Procedures are complex including epicardial VT ablation, HIS bundle and left bundle pacing, complex CRT, lead extraction, and complex AF/atypical atrial flutter.

The group has a large catchment area supporting outreach care across northern Colorado, SE Wyoming, and the panhandle of Nebraska. Partners share in outreach coverage.

Electrophysiologist provide call coverage 1:8 weekends.

We participate in many research trials so patients can have access to cutting edge care. Previous, current, and future EP trials include cryoballoon for persistent AF, RF balloon for PVI, pulsed field electroporation, posterior wall isolation with the cryoballoon, novel RF catheter for PVI, and dual chamber leadless pacing. We also provide opportunity for participation in teaching at the medical school level.
