The Department of General Surgery at Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking Staff Surgeon candidates to join our growing Section of General, Acute Care, and Trauma Surgery at Fairview Hospital.

Fairview Hospital is a tertiary teaching level II trauma center, with 500 beds, on the Westside of Cleveland. Since formally joining the Cleveland Clinic in 2006, Fairview Hospital continues to grow rapidly and is a leader in its market.

Candidates should be residency trained, board certified/eligible in general surgery and fellowship trained, board certified/eligible in surgical critical care, able to obtain an Ohio medical license and meet hospital credentialing requirements. An interest in an elective general surgery practice is welcome. An active research interest in general surgery and trauma is also encouraged and will be supported. We are committed to the teaching of residents and students in patient care and research. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience will be with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
