Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Emergency Medicine is pleased to announce a one year Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship. Fellowship education focuses on how to integrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to master new and dynamic ultrasound applications.
The Ultrasound curriculum allows fellows to become proficient in both Ultrasound applications and management through protected clinical time devoted solely to ultrasound. US fellows have the option to become certified RDMS and RDCS as well as how to learn to perform TEE effectively. Critical care ultrasound training is a passion and emphasis of the fellowship leader. Fellows have numerous opportunities to learn practical US application that answer important clinical questions on the sickest patients. Mentorship from medical educators will facilitate your transition from learner to teacher. Ultrasound in medical education is integrated throughout the medical school and residency curriculum. Administrative experience is incorporated into the curriculum. Fellows learn fundamentals of QI for US as well as the process fundamentals of image archiving, billing, and coding.”
