Opportunity for a night shift Intensivist physician at a large hospital system in southern Connecticut. This 1500-bed non-profit teaching hospital is ranked among the premier medical centers in the nation. With two main campuses, they are the largest acute care provider in southern Connecticut and one of the Northeast&'s major referral centers.

About this Opportunity
  • Flexible block schedule - 12-hour night shifts
  • Provide comprehensive care to medical intensive care unit patients in collaboration with the medical house staff, Director of the MICU, and Attending Internists
  • The team includes six Intensivists
  • Cover MICU and tele ICU
  • Guaranteed base salary plus night shift stipend and annual bonus incentives and benefits package

  • Located along the southern Connecticut seacoast, 2 hours to New York City and 40 minutes to Hartford
  • Local universities, cultural attractions, downtown area with brick-paved streets, art galleries, and museums
  • Commuter rail line with service to New York City, Hartford, and Springfield
  • City population of 130,000 people
