The University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is seeking additional academic Transplant Pulmonologists to join its established Lung Transplant and Acute Lung Failure program.

The candidates will support a high-volume lung transplant and ECMO program in collaboration with Thoracic Surgery and Critical Care Medicine faculties. On-site ECMO training will be offered to advance the skill and incorporation into acute lung failure ICU for otherwise well-qualified candidates. UF lung transplant program boasts extensive infrastructure and NIH-funded basic science and translational research program. Candidates with experience in basic science, translational, or outcome studies are highly desirable and will be supported.

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship trained or substantial experience in Lung Transplantation
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Adult Pulmonary Disease
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
  • Qualify for academic appointment at The University of Florida – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.
  •  An active research program in basic, translational, clinical, or health services research is desirable
