As a Rheumatologist (Physician), you would be crucial to our mission because you would analyze and improve each patient’s orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues. This is a unique opportunity to practice at your highest level of training and interest, while having access to support from each subspecialty in orthopedics for advice or to refer patients. 

ROC is hiring two (2) Rheumatologists to provide services and offerings within the Northern Nevada region. By hiring a team of Rheumatologists, you can help us grow our large musculoskeletal institute, work in private practice with an established referral base, and collaborate with your team and our surgeons.

What would you do as a Rheumatologist?

This position focuses its time and effort on the following duties, though others may be required:

  • Consult with patients about health issues within the musculoskeletal system during office visits;
  • Review patient medical records and determine best course of treatment;
  • Perform non-operative procedures for patients as needed;
  • Follow up regarding patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Exposure to communicable disease, biohazards, toxic substances, and similar conditions are possible. May require travel to and from other locations.

What do you need to have to be considered?

To be successful in this role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Completion of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree;
  • Completion of a residency program;
  • Completion of a fellowship in rheumatology;
  • Eligible to obtain state of Nevada medical license;
  • Eligible to obtain Board Certification.
