The Yale Cancer Center invites applications for Associate Research Scientist, reporting directly to the Yale Cancer Center (YCC) Deputy Director for clinical affairs, the ARS will work in tight collaboration with the Translational Research office team and is responsible for the management of projects as well as writing and editing of documents related to the clinical and translational research efforts of investigators in the YCC. Will contribute scientific knowledge, analytical and writing skills, and team communication to the analysis of data, preparation of clinical trial and grant documents, and planning and production of scientific reports, with particular emphasis on complex multi-investigator award mechanisms such as the Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE), multi-PI R01 or P01, and collaborative grants (U01, U54) applications and cooperative agreements with industry partners. The Associate Research Scientist is expected to have a PhD Degree in a related discipline and four years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
