Providence Medical Group is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Hospitalist physician to join a dedicated and high-functioning regional team in Oregon City, Oregon and Milwaukie, Oregon. You will be part of the Hospitalist Program that oversees several different facilities across the greater Portland area. As such, this position offers excellent professional growth potential as you will have the chance to experience a variety of different sites and teams including ICU and critical care support. Providence Milwaukie Hospital, one of five Providence hospitals in the Portland area, is a full-service, 77-bed community hospital offering holistic care with robust inpatient and outpatient services. Actively engaged in the community, Providence Milwaukie Hospital has close ties with the Providence Cancer Institute and a well-respected family medicine residency program that emphasizes care for the underserved.
Where You'll Live
Milwaukie, population 21,000, is a lovely suburb of Portland. The pristine Clackamas River flows through forested valleys south of Milwaukie; the mighty Willamette River meanders by to the west; downtown Portland lies just 12 miles north; and Mount Hood and its deep green foothills rise to the east. Milwaukie is choice because housing is more affordable than in Portland proper, yet residents can easily access all the city has to offer.
