Memorial Healthcare System, located in south Florida, is looking for a fellowship-trained epilepsy specialist to join its growing epilepsy program. All candidates should be BE/BC in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology. Candidate should have interest and experience in epilepsy surgery, particularly in applying stereotactic electroencephalography (SEEG) monitoring for seizure localization and mapping.

Memorial’s comprehensive epilepsy program has been recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center since 2014. The Center’s multidisciplinary team includes neurologists with fellowship training in neurophysiology and epilepsy, a fellowship trained functional neurosurgeon, neuropsychologists, neuroradiologists, two ARNPs, a psychologist, and an epilepsy-experienced nursing staff. The active Epilepsy Center at Memorial has evolved in recent years to become recognized as a regional referral center for the diagnosis and management of epilepsy across its entire spectrum. Services include an epilepsy monitoring unit, epilepsy surgery for patients with intractable epilepsy (using SEEG), intracranial monitoring and brain mapping, NeuroPace/RNS surgery and other brain modulation procedures.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers a competitive benefits and compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
