Practice Information
  • Intermountain Thoracic-Lung-Esophageal Surgery group is seeking one BC/BE thoracic surgeon to join the group due to growth
  • Perform all facets of general thoracic surgery except lung transplant
  • Emphasis is on minimally invasive techniques for diagnosis and treatment of both benign and malignant disease
  • Collaborative practice with interventional pulmonology and gastroenterology
  • This group is prominent in the region because of the procedures performed
  • Practice at only one hospital, Intermountain Healthcare's Intermountain Medical Center (IMC), an academic tertiary care facility and the flagship hospital for Intermountain Healthcare
  • Call no more frequent than 1:3 and fully supported by our TICU and CV hospitalist group
  • Potential for airway interventions including EBUS, tracheal resection, and esophageal interventions, including benign foregut procedures including Heller myotomy, fundoplication, and stenting

Requirements
  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
  • Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
  • U.S. ACGME Residency
