Job Details
As Northwell Health is expanding our Women’s Health services across the health system, we are seeking dynamic BC/BE Laborists to join us in some of our top hospitals on Long Island.
We are currently searching for Laborists to join the existing OBGYN Hospitalist teams at the following hospitals:
North Shore University Hospital (Manhasset, NY: Nassau County) approximately 6,800 deliveries/year
Katz Women’s Hospital is a world-class facility offering comprehensive, compassionate care for expectant mothers. As a part of North Shore University Hospital — which is widely recognized for providing outstanding health care to women during all phases of their lives — we also offer many other health care services that impact women and their growing families.
Long Island Jewish Medical Center (New Hyde Park, NY: Nassau County) approximately 9,500 deliveries/year.
Long Island Jewish Medical Center is a New York State Regional Perinatal Center, accepting maternal and neonatal transports and educating five affiliate institutions. A cornerstone of Northwell Health, we are a teaching hospital for the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, providing a wide range of specialty and subspecialty residency programs, postgraduate training programs, and clinical fellowships.
Northwell Health is New York State’s largest health care provider and private employer, with 23 hospitals, 830 outpatient facilities, and more than 16,600 affiliated physicians. We care for over two million people annually in the New York metro area and beyond, thanks to philanthropic support from our communities. Our 76,000 employees – 18,900 nurses and 4,800 employed doctors, including members of Northwell Health Physician Partners – are working to change health care for the better. We’re making breakthroughs in medicine at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research. We're training the next generation of medical professionals at the visionary Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell’s OBGYN Residencies and many specialty Fellowships. Our professionals are relentless about staying ahead of the latest clinical trials and research, partnering with our own Feinstein Institute and other world-renowned institutions.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. In addition, an academic appointment with the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine is commensurate with credentials and experience. Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners, the seventh largest medical group in the country.
