The fellowship program provides advanced education in hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology, focused on maximizing patient safety.

This program provides strong clinical, surgical, and healthcare systems training in both academic and community hospital settings. High-quality training is given by experienced OB-GYN hospitalist, maternal fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, family planning and anesthesiology faculty. Applicants must have completed an accredited four-year residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology. Graduates of foreign medical schools must have a standard ECFMG certificate and completed postgraduate training in the United States. Fellows must be board-eligible or board certified and will be required to have a New York State medical license.

South Shore University Hospital is the eastern most tertiary hospital for Northwell Health, located 30 miles east of NYC in Bay Shore, New York.
