The Head and Neck Institute, in partnership with the Taussig Cancer Institute, is seeking a Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Staff Surgeon to join a multidisciplinary team of head and neck surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologist to provide individualized, coordinated care for patients. Our team completes nearly 1,000 surgical cases and more than 7700 visits annually with strong demand for additional services. The Head & Neck Institute is one of the most distinguished otolaryngology programs in the country with a strong commitment to the multi-disciplinary care of cancer patients. Collaborating with medical and radiation oncologists, we provide a range of services to patients including clinical trials and internationally-recognized cancer research, ensuring patients have access to latest advances in cancer treatment. The group actively maintains a biorepository for translational research efforts and has active collaborations with the Center for Immunotherapy and ImmunoOncology - a center recently established at Cleveland Clinic's Learner Research Institute that will advance personalized cancer care and breakthrough immunotherapy research.

Surrounded by a support team of advanced practice providers, speech & language pathologists, care coordinators and nurse navigators, this role is focused on clinical practice with emphasis on clinical research and teaching of residents and fellows. Candidates with microvascular surgical skills and experience in conducting clinical trials are preferred. Candidates will possess an MD and be board certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Eligibility for licensure in Ohio is also required. The successful applicant will receive a faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, one of the nation's leading Universities.
