Cardiology, Electrophysiology Opportunity – California, Fresno

The Heart Group, Fresno – is actively recruiting a full-time clinical cardiac electrophysiologist (BC/BE) to join our thriving cardiology practice in Fresno, California.

Founded in 1971, The Heart group is the largest and oldest private practice cardiology group from Sacramento to Los Angeles. With 9 board certified cardiologists (5 Interventionalist, 2 Heart Failure specialists, and 2 Electrophysiologist) 8 NPs, and 2 PAs, we currently care for more than 40,000 active patients with hundreds being added monthly.

In contrast with majority of cardiology practices which offer employed positions, we are completely independent and wholly physician owned, affording our physicians complete autonomy. We offer a balanced practice with outpatient and inpatient care opportunities. We utilize state-of-the-art EPIC EMR & Cloud based Echo/NUC reading.

Call duties are equitable and shared equally among all physicians, Interventional, Non-Invasive, and EP. Typical weekend call: 6 weeks.

Work Environment

• Currently patients are managed in two outpatient offices located on the campuses of the two major hospitals that we serve (Saint Agnes and Clovis Community Hospital), but we anticipate completion of our state-of-the-art outpatient medical office in 2023-2024.
• St Agnes is a 400-bed private hospital, STEMI receiving center with 4 cardiac catheterization labs (including EP Lab).
• Clovis Community is currently a 300-bed hospital with additional beds being added, it has 2 Cath labs, with 3 more opening in Fall 2022.

Requirements:

• California License
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• United states Legal Resident/Citizen – No VISA sponsorship           

Compensation:

• Competitive MGMA compensation
• Average Call q6 weekend
• 1-Year partnership track
• 4 Week Vacation and 1 week CME
• Paid malpractice
