Private practice is alive and well! Redwood Pulmonary Medical Associates is a successful, Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine practice established in 2001 in beautiful Redwood City, CA. We are uniquely located inside the hospital where we consult on inpatients - no commute or other hospitals to cover. We own a 2-bed sleep laboratory inside our office suite, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
We have strong ties to UCSF and Stanford where there are opportunities to be involved in clinical research. We also run regional and national sleep programs utilizing in-person and telemedicine services and home sleep apnea testing. Our providers share ICU call with 4 other independent intensivists in a collaborative, cooperative manner, where there is night coverage. The office and inpatient pulmonary practice are composed of patients with an interesting breadth and complexity of pulmonary diseases.
Board certification in Sleep Medicine is not a requirement but general familiarity with sleep disorders is required. We are offering a full-time position for a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician, with competitive salary plus benefits package. A signing bonus and moving allowance are provided as well. We are looking for a candidate who is compassionate, outgoing, entrepreneurial, team-oriented, and patient-centered. Extensive diversification of services allows us to see patients in a less rushed, frenetic pace. New graduates and more seasoned practitioners are invited to apply. Ties to the Bay Area are a plus.
