Full-Time Infectious Disease Physician Opportunity in Danbury, CT (60 miles from NYC)

Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a fifth full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join our long established and growing practice in Danbury, Connecticut, located about 60 miles northeast of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. The practice includes four Infectious Disease physicians and two Advanced Practitioners who cover our outpatient office, clinic, and Danbury Hospital. Our office is located just minutes away from Danbury Hospital. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives, and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation. In addition to office and hospital responsibilities, the position will include some ID telemedicine, a role in stewardship, and some wound care, though previous wound care experience is not required.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified/eligible in Infectious Disease and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. There will be some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. Recent graduates and 2023 candidates are welcome to apply.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
