Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (OB/GYN) Full Time with Competitive Salary and Benefit Package!

Join a Recognized Leader in OB/GYN, where your input will be valued at our General Obstetrics and Gynecology practice in Culpeper. We are currently recruiting for both full time and PRN positions. We are affiliated with UVA Medical Center, widely recognized for its quality of care and the #1 Hospital in Virginia, according to U.S. News and World Report.

With a focus on excellence in clinical care, teaching and research, the UVA Physicians Group (UPG) seeks a dedicated OB/GYN Physician who will have full spectrum responsibilities including an office-based practice, and performing gynecological surgery and L&D including call.

Candidates must possess an MD or DO, have completed an OB/GYN residency, and be board certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering care in a community setting, enthusiasm for medical education, and an interest in collaborating in clinical research are encouraged.

The position is full-time and offers a very competitive base salary and incentive program along with sign-on bonus, and opportunity for a non-paid faculty appointment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • Graduate of Accredited Medical School with Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Completion of Accredited Residency in OBGYN.

Licensure:
  • BC or BE (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation) ; current Virginia license and DEA.
  • Current BLS and PALS
