A large community hospital in coastal Rhode Island is adding a Hospitalist.

About the opportunity
  • A collaborative team of 30 physicians and 7 advanced practitioners
  • Teaching and non-teaching positions - teaching teams include Brown University and New England College of Osteopathic Medicine IM, FM and EM residents and students
  • Unit-based rounding
  • Manage 13-15 patients/day with backup coverage for volume surges
  • Flexible scheduling of 14 shifts per month, with no more than 2 weekends per month
  • The second-largest hospital in the state with 350 beds
  • Guaranteed base compensation with incentive bonus plus a rich benefits package that includes health, life, disability, and malpractice insurance
