St. Christopher's Hospital for Children + Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania are recruiting an experienced full-time BC/BE neonatologist to join its Neonatology Division team of six (6) attending neonatologists and five (5) physician assistants at Temple University Hospital. The candidate should be flexible with a commitment to outstanding clinical care and education. The Neonatology Division currently provides care at a 26-bed Level III Intensive Care Nursery (ICN) at Temple University Hospital, which has the capability of providing care to all gestational age infants. Our neonatologists are supported by a dedicated social worker and case management team, as well as the full range of pediatric sub-specialists from St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. The Newborn Nursery is staffed by pediatricians from Temple Pediatrics. Temple has approximately 2,500 deliveries a year and 400 NICU admissions. The division has a strong commitment to quality improvement work and participates in the Vermont Oxford Network. Our faculty are involved with training St. Christopher's Hospital for Children Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellows, pediatric residents and Drexel University College of Medicine and Temple University College of Medicine students. Our current group shares service weeks and in-house call, which affords our group a great work-life balance.
