Cleveland Clinic Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute is recruiting a full-tim e fellowship-trained transplant nephrologist for kidney/pancreas transplantation who is board certified/board eligible by the ABMS to join our Charleston Area Medical Center, West Virginia with approximately 60 cases per year to meet the growing needs of the program. Since the program was established in 1987, more than 1,300 kidney transplants have been performed at the Charleston Area Medical Center. In affiliation with the Charleston Area Medical Center, our team includes transplant surgeons, four certified clinical transplant coordinators, pharmacist, dietitian, social worker and attending nephrologists. The position requires the ability to obtain a West Virginia medical license.

CAMCs Kidney Transplant Center offers expert, high-quality personalized treatment for patients with advanced kidney disease. Our program ranked in the top 25 percent in the country for transplant rate.

The transplant center is certified by Medicare and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) to transplant kidney for adults. CAMC has a well-established Urology and General Surgery residency program and offers the opportunity to participate in teaching and research activities. Adjunct faculty appointment to West Virginia University Charleston Division is also available.
