Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician in Plano, Texas

TeamHealth is excited to announce that Children's Medical Center Plano is growing and looking to hire a new fellowship-trained pediatric emergency medicine physician to join the team in Q3 and Q4 of 2022. A new tower will be built with efficiency in mind, connecting the beds to ancillary support programs, reducing transport times between the operating room and the emergency room, and providing closer patient access to imaging. The surges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic have pushed many systems to think about flexibility, allowing them to adjust as needed to an influx of patients. Starting in September of 2022 the facility will go from providing 80 hours of physician coverage in the emergency department (ED) to 90 hours of coverage. This is currently a 60-bed hospital with 29 ED beds with an annual volume around 51,000 patients per year and has over 30 specialties. We offer a competitive companion package as a 1099 independent contractor status. TeamHealth is a physician lead and patient-focused practice.
