RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey are Filling Hospitalist Faculty Positions in Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplantation

Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and in partnership with the RWJBarnabas Health System, seek candidates to join the Hospitalist Service for the Division of Blood Disorders. Specifically, we seek candidates with clinical interests in Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation.

Responsibilities would also include supporting the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, as well as the expansion of clinical trials across the RWJBH health system as well as contribute to phase 1 clinical trials research group.

This is a great opportunity for an eager physician to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary team alongside a strong support staff including advanced practice providers with the goal of providing high-level care. Unique opportunities exist for collaborations between clinical and research programs, clinical trials research, cancer chemoprevention, clinical and basic pharmacology, novel cell therapy constructs, and participation in a broad range of teaching initiatives with medical students, housestaff, and fellows.

Candidate requirements:

  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
  • Must be American Board of Internal Medicine or American Board of Family Medicine certified
  • Ambitious and looking for growth opportunities 

Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Faculty are expected to support the educational goals and activities of the School, and as such will be expected to be involved in teaching activities for medical students and residents as well as targeted lectures in their area of expertise.

We are open to new graduates as well as experienced physicians! Please note that current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the residency stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of residency!
