RWJ Barnabas Health is seeking dynamic and motivated non-invasive Cardiologists with strong interests in delivering excellent clinical care in combination with academics, teaching, and research to join and supplement a busy and rapidly expanding Division of Cardiology. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the largest Health Care System in New Jersey, with the state-of-the-art resources. New faculty will be part of BHMG, a statewide medical group comprising 2,000+ highly trained and experienced world-class primary and specialty care physicians. Ideal candidates will be working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings located primarily in Hudson County. Candidates are encouraged to participate and lead cardiovascular research development, participate in interdisciplinary quality assurance meetings whilst demonstrating a commitment to personal growth and education. Transition to practice will be supported by our core team of highly trained cardiologists with expertise in Cardiac Diagnostics & Imaging, Coronary, Peripheral and Structural Interventions, as well, as EP and Advanced Heart Failure.

This is a unique opportunity to join the only open-heart surgery program in Hudson County. This program, part of the busy and successful Cardio-Vascular Service Line, works closely with intensivists and pulmonology/critical care physicians within the full spectrum of services, from general cardiology, to most advanced diagnostic services and interventional procedures. Working primarily out of Hudson County, the new faculty will have the chance to develop and grow within an established practice, full of mentors ,and supported by the expertise and resources of the best health system in the state. Qualified candidates will have the chance not only to be clinically active, but also to teach and conduct population health based research and community outreach.

We are open to new graduates as well as experienced physicians! Please note that current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the fellowship stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of fellowship!
