GENERAL GI FACULTY POSITION

The Division of Gastroenterology at the Albany Medical College is recruiting general gastroenterology faculty. Interests in motility and small bowel disease would be appreciated but not required. The division collaborates with colorectal, oncologic, and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologist, pediatric gastroenterologists, and GI pathologists. In addition, an on-site infusion unit and endoscopy suite complements the program. The Endoscopy Suite is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, along with anesthesia support. There is also ongoing NIH and industry supported IBD research. Regional demand for complex GI patients is high and would ensure an interesting practice from day one. In joining our academic faculty, the successful candidate will enjoy ample opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and Gastroenterology fellows. Research and other scholarly work is encouraged and supported commensurate with the skills and accomplishments of the clinician scientist.
