An incredible traditional internal medicine position with the option for a 4 day week with volumes that won't lead to burnout

Opportunity:
• This hospital-employed position offers the option for a 4-day week and a blend of 75% inpatient and 25% outpatient medicine;
• Inpatient duties include low-volume admissions in a hospital with 8 acute beds and 18 swing beds.
• Provide medical clearance admissions to the onsite geri-psych unit and nursing home.
• See an average of 30 patients per week in the outpatient clinic
• Collaborate with Advance Practice Clinicians for admissions to the skilled nursing facility; alternate monthly rounding at the nursing home as well as provide medical clearance for patients admitted to the geriatric-psychiatric unit, located on the same campus as the hospital and clinic.
• After-hours call is taken by phone
• Visa assistance available. Guaranteed J1 Waiver assistance through Appalachian Regional Commission

Compensation Details:
• First-year compensation of $300K, including $72K in stipends
• Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, life, long-term and short-term disability, medical malpractice and 401K
