IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians, which is part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Nocturnist to join their team in Bedford, IN!

Position Details:

• Full-time, 100% clinical, with an opportunity to teach medical students
• 100% inpatient
• Schedule: Nights, 7 on / 14 off
• Open ICU
• Volume: 16-20 patients
• On-site medical specialty support including cardiology, GI, oncology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, podiatry, and OB/GYN

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform direct patient care with strong subspecialist support
• Services include hospital admissions, consultations, and cross coverage
• Codes and procedures are mandatory
• Procedures includes intubations and central lines (2-4 per month)

Qualifications:

• Must be ABIM BE/BC
• Experience, preferred
• Visa sponsorship available; H-1B

Compensation Details:

• Compensation includes a strong base salary, WRVUs, and sign on bonus

IU Health Bedford Hospital operates as a critical access hospital with inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory care services and 24-hour emergency room and EMS services. IU Health Bedford Hospital employs the physician group practice, IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians, which is a multi-specialty practice providing medical services in internal medicine, family practice, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics. Nurse practitioners in adult and pediatric primary care have been added to expand medical care.
