Adolescent Medicine - Major New York Teaching Hospital

Northwell Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE physician for the Division of Adolescent Medicine to join the Department of Pediatrics at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH), a teaching hospital of the Zucker SOM at Hofstra Northwell, CUNY SOM and Touro SOM. Highlights include: 

• Our program includes a thriving outpatient clinical site, 2 school-based health centers, a Comprehensive Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (CAPP) program and a Comprehensive Family Planning and Reproductive Health Program.
• The Department of Pediatrics has a 20-bed in-patient unit, a level II trauma center, a PICU, a level III NICU, 3,000 annual newborn deliveries and a busy Pediatric Emergency Department. Our Pediatric Residency program is fully accredited by the ACGME.
• Administrative, supervisory. and teaching responsibilities include supervision of Pediatric residents and medical students and participation in our core educational programming, including simulation and development of research/quality improvement projects.
