The Division of Critical Care Medicine of the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital is inviting applications for faculty candidates with board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine to provide clinical care in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Several positions will be open in July 2023 and are suited for physicians pursuing a combined clinical and research career. Candidates with an academic focus in neurocritical care, resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, implementation science, or data science are especially encouraged to apply. The Medical-Surgical ICU at Boston Children’s is a 30-bed unit expanding to 54 beds in 2023. It features state-of-the-art technologies geared at providing the highest quality critical care.

Faculty will be expected to participate in the educational programs of the Division. The ideal candidates will have a portfolio of research accomplishments that they wish to continue to pursue. Current research funding is not required. Candidates must meet the metrics for an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.
