The Division of Critical Care Medicine of the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at Boston Children's Hospital is inviting applications for the position of Director of Neurocritical Care to lead the Neurocritical Care Program and to provide clinical care in the Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The Medical-Surgical ICU at Boston Children’s is a 30-bed unit expanding to 54 beds in 2023. It features state-of-the-art technologies geared at providing the highest quality critical care. A thriving group of intensivists, neurologists, neurointerventionists, and neurosurgeons provide cutting-edge and innovative care for children with a wide variety of illnesses. We value and are strongly committed to a team-centered approach to patient care, the well-being of our clinicians, and innovation through research and education.

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of research accomplishments in neurocritical care, leadership qualities, and a vision for collaborative neurocritical care. Current research funding is preferred but not required. Candidates must meet the metrics for an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS) at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.
