Outpatient Psychiatrist

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time General Psychiatrist to join their outpatient practice located in Lancaster, PA. As now one of the largest behavior health practices in the region, LGHP Behavioral Health group consists of physicians, behavioral health advanced practice providers, as well as counselors, therapists, nurses, and other health-care professionals supporting our team. The group works collaboratively, in a medical consultative model, with our robust primary care network to provide the highest quality patient care experience in conjunction with professional satisfaction and work life balance. The behavioral health counselors are located throughout the health system at the primary care practices with some specialty care practices to provide embedded services.

Psychiatrists at Lancaster General Health System have easy access to acute inpatient care when necessary with our joint partnership and collaboration with the Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital and partnership with Franklin and Marshall College to provide a student behavioral health experience for those interested Psychiatrists.

Join one of the fastest growing behavioral health teams in the region and enjoy the opportunity to provide high-level and patient oriented care working as a General Psychiatrist working a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. with minimal demand after hour’s call that is shared among the group and compensated for by a monthly day off. This position will also have the option to explore a robust leadership development track and opportunity overseeing the practice clinical operations in conjunction with the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s Medical Group physician led leadership team.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatrist residency
• Possess or able to obtain an unrestricted PA Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
