Assistant/Associate Professor of Medical Oncology with emphasis on CNS and Head & Neck Malignancies
The Oncology Department at the Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) is seeking an outstanding physician trained in medical oncology (or hematology/oncology) with an interest or expertise in treating primary and metastatic CNS malignancies and head and neck cancers.
A medical oncologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with a strong radiation oncology program equipped with state-of-art technology, including Cyberknife, Gamma Knife, and Zap-X, 26 neurosurgeons, a fellowship-trained neuro-oncologist, several head & neck surgical oncologists, pathologists, and specialized neuro-radiologists. We also have excellent patient support services, including dedicated social work, nutrition, rehabilitation, wound care, and after-care support.
We intend to recruit a medical oncologist at the Assistant or Associate rank interested in broad clinical exposure in the context of strong academic programs. This will be an opportunity to build a unique career focusing on primary and metastatic CNS tumors and head & neck malignancies.
Board certification (or eligibility for new graduates) is required, and applicants must be able to obtain licensure in Arizona without restriction.
