The Department of Radiation Oncology at Duke University is seeking a clinically oriented Radiation Oncologist to join our program at Regional Medical Center (RMC) in Orangeburg, SC. RMC is a 286-bed acute-care medical center serving a six-county area. Patients are cared for at the H. F. Mabry Cancer Care Center adjacent to the hospital and staffed by a highly trained team of physicians, nurses and healing professionals providing a patient-centered and healing environment.

The department seeks a highly motivated individual to develop his/her professional career within Duke. There will be close interactions with the main campus in Durham. Compensation will be based on AAPM benchmarks and clinical experience. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in working alongside another full time Radiation Oncologist onsite and the Duke Department of Radiation Oncology to practice in a thriving, state of the art community-based program providing high quality patient care close to home. Work-life balance is valued and there is no call and no evening or weekend coverage responsibilities.

The desired candidate will be board-eligible or board-certified in Radiation Oncology, clinically oriented, and have demonstrated experience growing a community practice. The practice consists of two LINACS and is currently treating over 30 patients daily using Varian technology.

Orangeburg, SC is located midway between the historic port city of Charleston, and Columbia, the capital city and the home of the University of South Carolina.
