The Department of Radiology at Duke Health is expanding and we seek applicants at the Medical Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. This is an outstanding opportunity to build an academic career in an exemplary Neuroradiology Division within an excellent Department and Institution.

The Department actively seeks to identify and promote faculty who are women or underrepresented minorities.

The Neuroradiology Division, with 15 faculty and 8 fellows, operates a high volume, high profile, and growing clinical practice with primary responsibilities for all neuro imaging including CT, MR, and intervention. Facilities are excellent including state-of-the-art CT, MR (1.5 T and 3.0 T), DECT, and CT-fluoroscopy. The Division hosts a strong Spine Interventional Service, which serves a growing patient population with referrals nationwide.

The Division is integral to Neurosurgery, Neurology, Pediatrics, Otolaryngology, Radiation Oncology, and Psychiatry with associated multi-disciplinary conferences and collaboration.

The Department has a substantial research infrastructure, which includes biostastical and research administration support, a clinical research MR scanner, small animal imaging technology, and a close collaboration with Departmental PhD scientists and researchers across Duke.

Ideal candidates will be ABR eligible or ABR certified. Rank and academic track at Duke will be commensurate with experience and credentials. There is an expectation to teach students, residents, and fellows, and candidates interested in promoting this education would be especially desirable. Special expertise in other clinical or research topics would be welcome but are not necessarily required.
