Pediatric Hospitalist at UC

The University of California, Riverside is seeking Pediatric Hospitalists to join the faculty in the Department of Pediatrics. These individuals will provide Hospitalist coverage at the Eisenhower Medical Center. This position offers excellent opportunities for teaching and pursuing a career in academic medicine with time dedicated to instruction and scholarly activity.

Experience and interest in chronic disease management and working in interdisciplinary teams are preferred.

The pediatric hospitalists work 7, 24 hour shifts per month.

Successful candidates must possess an M.D., or equivalent degree and be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics and show completion of an ACGME accredited pediatric residency program. Successful candidates will also be expected to show a strong commitment to the education of medical students and residents. The successful candidates will also be expected to participate in research, scholarly activities, University and public service appropriate for the academic appointment. Applicants must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and our affiliated hospitals. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
