NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College. Dedicated to providing high quality patient care to a diverse community, Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Attending of record in the Medical Inpatient Unit
  • Provide a minimum of 40 clinical hours per week of patient care and consults
  • Participate in the off hour, on-site coverage
  • Perform weekend Rounds, as required
  • Provide appropriate training and supervision of House Officers, Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students
  • Participate in CME, performance improvement activities, and hospital-wide committees
  • Attendance at departmental meetings
  • Assume other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Chief of Service, Chief Hospitalist, or their designee
  • Based on the needs of the Department, the schedule may include weekends, overnights, and up to three paid call requirements per month


Qualifications:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
  • Ability to speak Spanish highly desired
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to hire
