Where you’ll be working: Acute and General Medicine, Waikato Hospital, New Zealand.

The details: Full-time, 46 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Acute and General Medicine at Waikato hospital has a great opportunity for a motivated and dynamic physician who is looking to join a supportive and enthusiastic team.

We aim to continue building on our multidisciplinary service, and therefore the position would be either full-time or split time for applicants with specialty interests. Those with infectious disease or immunology experience would be particularly desirable.

The appointee will be involved in teaching, continuing medical education, and quality improvement. There is emphasis on ongoing development of services to meet the needs of our patients. A commitment to customer focus, service development, and teamwork are essential.

You will be part of a large dedicated team of physicians, registrars, clinical nurse specialists, allied health, and administrative staff.

The applicant must be a passionate team player and must be eligible for or working toward vocational registration in New Zealand. Applicants with FRACP qualifications are encouraged to apply.
